Before you ask the front desk
Insurance and payment, in full.
- Do you take my insurance?
-
We're in network with 9 plans:
- Delta Dental PPO
- Delta Dental Premier
- Anthem Blue Cross Dental
- MetLife PDP
- Cigna Dental PPO
- Guardian Dental
- and 3 more
- What if you're not in network with my plan?
We file claims with most other PPO plans too. Out of network, your plan may pay less, and we tell you the difference before we start.
- Do you see BadgerCare patients?
We see children on BadgerCare Plus. We are not taking new adult BadgerCare patients right now.
- What if I have no insurance?
Our in-office plan covers two checkups and cleanings a year, with X-rays, for one yearly fee, and takes a set amount off other work. Ask the front desk for this year's price.
- When do I pay?
We bill your insurance for you. Your share is due on the day of your visit, and we tell you what it is before we start.
Your first visit
Plan on about an hour and a half for the first visit. Checkups after that take about an hour.
- Come about fifteen minutes early, or fill in the forms below at home and bring them.
- We take any X-rays you need, unless your last dentist can send recent ones.
- The dentist checks your teeth and gums and talks you through what they see.
- Most first visits include a cleaning with one of our hygienists.
- Before you leave, you get a written plan with costs for anything we suggest, and time to think about it.
From a first checkup to a cracked tooth on a Monday morning.
- Checkups and cleanings A checkup with the dentist and a cleaning with a hygienist, usually every six months, for children and adults.
- Fillings Tooth-colored fillings for cavities, done in one visit with the area numbed first.
- Crowns and bridges A crown covers a tooth that is cracked or weak; a bridge fills the gap where a tooth is missing.
- Whitening Take-home whitening trays made for your teeth, after a checkup to make sure whitening suits you.
- Emergency visits For a toothache, a broken or knocked-out tooth, or a lost filling or crown. Call us first.
Two dentists, two hygienists and a front desk that knows your name.
Dr. Lindqvist opened the practice in 2014 with one chair and a borrowed waiting-room sofa. We have more chairs now and the same rule: explain everything, and write the cost down before we start.
